The food served was all delicious, still hot and flavorful. There is live music with soothing acoustic songs. friendly staff. when wanting to take a selfie, the staff offered to help take our picture. staff alert with problems faced by guests. Reasonable prices and appropriate to the size of the food portion.

A great restaurant in central Tawau, perhaps one of the Pate Grill House chain's upper-eschelon branches. The restaurant space is a very tasteful and lightfilled indoor atrium-like area, buzzing with a flurry of diners all day, but there is a decent amount of tabling to accomodate this volume. Local cuisine served up from their decently wide-ranging menu is delectable, and the service from Pate's staff is attentive and cordial.

I recently visited this local gem for lunch, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made us feel immediately welcome. The fusion menu offered a unique blend of flavors, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious and packed with vibrant, well-balanced tastes. The interior design deserves a special mention – it’s stylish and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed meal, whether you're dining with friends or enjoying a cozy meal with a loved one. The space strikes the ideal balance between modern chic and comfort. Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic spot to enjoy great food and good company. We arrived during peak lunch hour and, as expected, it was packed. While waiting to be seated, we were given the menu and refreshments outside under roof from the hot sun — not the most comfortable, but manageable. Thankfully, we were ushered to our table after about 10 minutes. Despite the crowd, the staff handled the rush well. They were organised, attentive, and friendly throughout. The interior was beautifully decorated — cozy, warm, and inviting. A great escape from the midday heat. The menu was impressive, offering a wide range of dishes, both local favourites and international options. The restroom was surprisingly spacious and clean — a small detail, but appreciated. Unfortunately, just as we were leaving, the crew began setting up for the live music session. Would’ve been nice to catch it! Overall, a charming spot with good food and atmosphere — just try to avoid the peak hour if you’re not a fan of waiting in the heat.

This restaurant is near FAJA. It's quite big and the food is OK. You can give it a try.

Pate’s Restaurant offers excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and top-notch service. I visited with a few friends, and we had an amazing time. A special thanks to the waiter Roslan for his exceptional hospitality. It was also fun seeing everyone celebrate someone’s birthday, making the atmosphere incredibly friendly and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

A very happening place on a public holiday evening. Live entertainment, a birthday celebration, lots of food and merriment. Staff attentive. Although busy, barely any wait time for a table. Drinks looked impressive. Food was okay.
